Mont Blanc preseason

Here we are again met with the friend “Gastro-Man,” said the “L”. We will do with its clients to climb Mont Blanc, 4810m, on the normal route via the Gouter corridor in 3 days. I join the evening for a good Grasserie. I just got back from crossing the Domes miage. Another good evening, intense laughter ;-). A little sleep, Eva thank you for housing, and I find the “L” on Chamonix. We share customers join the train. The snow is still in large quantities, it does not work yet. We then take the taxi-4 * 4. It will always be that of winning! We climb slowly, but here there is no point to run with the trailers of the day (yes, they make Footin ;-)). Getting to the eagle, the weather changes and we will have just enough time to take shelter earlier in safe-haven to dodge the waterspout falling. We will, that day, almost the only ones to get dry refuge Tête Rousse .
After a good rehydration, we will put in the basement, moist, for the night. What a night of shit, humidity and cold creep everywhere, and it is with pleasure that we get up early to climb the legendary and sadly and infamous Gouter corridor. In this season, there is plenty of snow, and we will not have access to any cables. Suffice to say, “look at your feet, gently, and allowed to fall”. We get to taste the old shelter under a blue sky. However, it will not last. Persistent fog, we will afternoons under the duvet with all you can drink. “D” day: 2 hours up, one hand without panic. We are catching up quickly roped the parties to speed. The group struggling to move quickly and subsequently undergoing cold and wind gusts to 70 km / h, we decide to turn away Vallot!
It is important not to forget that once there, we still have to go down the corridor of taste, that with all this snow, takes time and must be passed before the sun too pat it. This will avoid to take a “missile”! Despite the fact that the summit is not been trampled, smiles await you. The Mont Blanc is not tamed so easily and all will be keen to return! Thank you for giving me the friend to accompany you permi the above!
