After four seasons at the southern edge of Glacier Peak White, we are left with the “male” part of the family of Fred smoking! I should have said the “steaming”. And yes, with Maryline, the second guide who will accompany us for this classic beautiful, we will not have to complain about: fast and efficient is the key word in the Grande Casse. We find, fine team to Pralognan-la-Vanoise. They are all ready and organized. What a treat. To save a little, we opt for a rise in cable car and then an hour and a half walk. \nThe next day, after a night in the storm-lightning system, we start with an average refreeze. It will be good for any trace. blue sky breakthroughs allow us to be confident. The climb is beautiful. The short rope and then we go back and trace the major corridors in full axis. 300m of pure crappy snow. But no matter, time seems to keep coming to our neck. However the wind picks up, and we reach the summit between two holes of blue \/ gray \/ fog. The whole family gathered on the walk one meter by 50cm wide. What a pleasure !
\nWe must not linger because down before the bad, you never know. Our flair has been auspicious. It will take by storm, in the bottom of the major corridors, to translate: 90km \/ h wind, hail, rain, fog. I will be good to dry my pants at the shelter. Once again, this year the conditions remain difficult with this ultra changing weather. When we arrived at the shelter, we are doing everything possible to dry business enjoying good food and drinks ridden by son.
